The positions of Parliamentarian and Vice President, on the IE CLT executive board will be elected at the membership meeting in November. Any member in good standing can nominate any other member in good standing, including themselves, by completing this form before November 1st, 2024. If elected, board members are required to complete a board training and sign an MOU (if they are not already executive board members).
All candidates are allowed to make a two minute speech, prior to the vote, at the membership meeting in November. Candidates who are not able to attend the membership meeting in November in-person can send a short statement which will be read for 2 minutes by an IE CLT staffer. Only candidates can speak and only a statement from an absentee candidate will be heard before the vote.
Once the results are announced a motion to ratify the results is needed. Once the members ratify the results the elected board members will complete an MOU and Board Training. Once the MOU and Board Training are complete, the new officer’s term will start.
